1. Who we are
Airidale (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Airidale Idle at idle.airidale.net. This policy covers the browser game, sign-in, practice mode, leaderboards, and public cell pages. Contact us about privacy at support@airidale.net.
Other Airidale services and third-party sites you visit through links have their own data practices. Our Terms of Service explain the rules for using the game.
2. Information we handle
- Account information. When you sign in with Discord or Google, our authentication service receives your provider identifier and the basic profile information the provider shares, which may include your email address, name, username, avatar, and email verification status. It maintains an internal account identifier, linked identities, and session information. We do not receive your Discord or Google password.
- Game data. We store your miner name, appearance, progress, currencies, equipment, cell, decorations, journal, contracts, rewards, settings, and timestamps. We also process action identifiers, save versions, and activity timing to save reliably, calculate idle rewards, and prevent duplicate or invalid actions.
- Technical information. Our hosting and authentication providers process request information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, timestamps, errors, and security logs to deliver and protect the service.
- Support messages. If you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you include in your request.
Google sign-in uses basic identity information to authenticate you; the game does not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, or Drive files.
3. How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, connect your chosen sign-in methods, save and restore your mine across devices, calculate progress and rewards, display public game features, answer support requests, investigate bugs and abuse, and maintain the game.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to provide the game under our terms, for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service, to meet legal obligations, or with consent where required.
4. What other players can see
Your online miner name, appearance, earned title, ranking, prestige, and selected game statistics can appear on public leaderboards. Your saved cell also has a public link showing your miner name, appearance, rank, prestige, cell size, and equipped decorations. Cells can be opened from leaderboards as well as shared links; they are not private just because you have not shared the link yourself.
Discord usernames may be used as an initial miner name. Google names and email addresses are not used as your public miner name; you choose a name in the game. You can change your miner name and appearance in Your miner. Avoid including your real name or other private information in your public name.
We do not include your email address, sign-in provider identifiers, or authentication tokens in public leaderboards or cell responses. Other people and sharing services may retain screenshots or cached previews of public content.
5. Browser storage and analytics
Sign-in uses cookies to maintain your session. Browser local storage keeps practice saves and preferences, such as your selected journal tab and whether you dismissed an invitation. Session storage temporarily retains pending game actions so interrupted saves can be retried safely.
Practice saves stay in that browser rather than being saved to your online account. Visiting practice mode still involves normal hosting requests and the site’s analytics.
The site includes Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand visits and performance. These services collect information such as page URLs, referring sites, browser and device type, approximate country, and performance measurements. Vercel describes Web Analytics as using no analytics cookies and Speed Insights as collecting measurements that do not identify individual visitors. See Vercel Web Analytics privacy information and Speed Insights privacy information.
You can control cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in; clearing local storage can permanently remove your practice mine and preferences. Clearing browser storage does not delete an online save.
6. Service providers and disclosure
We use Supabase for authentication and game data storage, Vercel for hosting, delivery, analytics, and performance monitoring, and Discord or Google for your chosen sign-in method. These providers process information needed for those services. Their privacy information is available from Supabase, Vercel, Discord, and Google.
Authorized people helping operate and support Airidale may access information when needed for their work. We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or threats to people’s rights or safety.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own; where required, applicable safeguards govern international transfers.
7. Retention and security
We retain account and saved-game information to support continued play and recovery while your account remains active, unless you request deletion. Support records, security logs, and backups may remain for longer where needed for security, legal obligations, or resolving disputes. Retention depends on the purpose of the record and the provider’s applicable retention settings.
We use access controls and service security features to protect information. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please protect your sign-in account and avoid sending passwords or authentication tokens to support.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can edit your public miner name and appearance in Your miner and view connected sign-in methods under Connected accounts. Both offer a Sign out option for this browser. You can also revoke the game’s authorization through your sign-in provider. Revoking authorization or signing out does not itself delete data already stored by Airidale.
To request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your personal information or game account, email support@airidale.net. Include your public miner name and the sign-in method you use so we can locate the account. We may need to verify ownership before acting; do not send your password.
The in-game Reset progress feature starts your mine over while keeping your miner identity and sign-in account. It is not account deletion. Because authentication may also support other Airidale services, tell us whether your request concerns only Idle data or your entire Airidale sign-in account.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
9. Children’s privacy
Airidale Idle is intended for people aged 13 or older, subject to any higher minimum age required where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in breach of these requirements, contact support@airidale.net so we can investigate and address it, including deletion where appropriate.
10. Policy updates
We will update this page and its date when our practices change. Material changes will be highlighted in the game or its update notes. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a new use of your information.
